Making sure your cake looks it's best for it's big debut is so important! Please take the time to read over the below information before you pick your cake up.

Carrying your cake

All of our cakes are boxed up and covered in a layer of cellophane.

Always, always (I really can't stress this one enough) hold your cake from the BOTTOM of the box. Keep it completely flat, and try not to tilt it as you hold it. Although our cake boxes are strong, we don't recommend holding it from the sides as it could damage your cake.

Transporting your cake

This is a big one!

It's best to transport your cake in a flat surface like the boot, but just make sure there is nothing that could fall or hit your cake.

If it's a hot day, pop your air con on before you pick the cake up, we'd also suggest not to leave it in the car. Car's can heat up quickly and melt cakes!

When you drive your beautiful cake home, just remember you've still got your cake! It's precious cargo, so take it slower over bumps and corners!

Storing your cake

Buttercream cakes should be stored in their box and are best kept in the fridge until you are ready to eat them.

Fondant cakes should be stored in their box out of direct sunlight.

Cupcakes should be kept in their box, if it's a hot day, you can pop them in the fridge to keep them cool.

Please remember, once you pick your cake up, it's your responsibility to look after it. We can't accept any responsibly for any damage once the cake has left us.

I really hope you enjoy your cake, thank you so much for your order!
